Seller Agreement

Birdie Buy sells subscriptions that give you access to a poultry marketplace platform. We are not a party to your sale. This agreement spells out the clean separation between your subscription fees, the Birdie Buy platform, and the actual poultry transaction. Last updated: 2026.

What Birdie Buy actually sells

Birdie Buy is a software platform. The only thing we charge buyers and sellers for is access to the website — specifically seller subscription plans and optional listing boosts. We do not sell birds, eggs, or any other animals, and we do not take a commission on animal sales.

When a buyer and seller connect through Birdie Buy, any transaction for birds or eggs happens directly between those two members, off the platform, under terms they set themselves.

Birdie Buy charges for

  • Seller subscriptions
  • Optional listing boosts
  • Potential future advertising fees

These are platform fees for access and visibility only. They are never a commission on a sale and are unrelated to the price of any animal.

Birdie Buy does NOT

  • Own the animals
  • Sell the animals
  • Set the animal's price
  • Take possession of the animals
  • Ship the animals
  • Guarantee fertility or hatch rate
  • Guarantee animal health
  • Receive the buyer's purchase money
  • Issue payment to the seller for the animal

Birdie Buy never takes custody of birds, eggs, or money. All payment, transport, and guarantees are arranged directly between the buyer and the seller.

Seller is responsible for

  • The animal
  • Listing accuracy
  • Price
  • Health
  • Legal compliance
  • Pickup, delivery, and shipping
  • Communication
  • The actual transaction
  • Refunds and DOA arrangements
  • Applicable taxes and permits

By publishing a listing you confirm the birds or eggs are yours to sell, that your description is accurate, and that you will handle the sale, fulfillment, and any refund or DOA arrangements yourself.

Acceptance and enforcement

Creating a seller account, subscribing to a plan, or publishing a listing means you accept this agreement along with our Terms of Service and Trust & Safety policies.

Misrepresenting an animal, failing to fulfill a sale, or violating animal welfare, shipping, or NPIP requirements may result in listing removal, loss of verification, suspension, or a permanent ban. No refund of subscription or boost fees is owed when an account is actioned for policy violations.

We may update this agreement; material changes will be announced in the platform or by email, and continued selling means you accept the updated version.

Limitation of liability

Because Birdie Buy does not own, price, hold, ship, or guarantee any animal and never handles the purchase money, it is not liable for disputes, losses, injuries, deaths, hatch failures, or payment problems arising from a transaction between members.

Sellers agree to resolve buyer disputes directly and in good faith.
